The headquarters for Kerry County Fire and Rescue Service. is Located at Tralee Fire Station , and it is from here the entire service is managed.
As well as a comprehensive station, we also have the stores and mechanics workshops.
Being headquarters, Tralee is also home to The Chief Fire Officer, Mr Kevin Caffery. Assistant Chief Fire Officers (Operations), Mr Donal Guerin and Mr Michael Forrest. Not to mention the A.C.F.Os (Prevention) and the A.F.Os along with the numerous office staff that keep things ticking over nicely.
At present, Tralee is undergoing a major re-fit and expansion project. The final result promises to be bigger and better than the old station. Keep an eye out for before and after pictures.
